To avoid migration, we recommend a very cautious and conservative approach. If you do get lip filler migration it is not harmful, and can be treated with lip dermal filler dissolving.
How Common Is Bruising After Lip Filler?
All dermal filler treatments have a risk of bruising. Lips have a slightly higher chance of bruising because they have many blood vessels. About 50% of people have slight bruising that can be covered with makeup and resolved in a few days. Excessive bruising after lip fillers is rare.
Preparing For Treatment
Truth be told, there isn’t a whole lot of necessary preparation for facial filler. However, it’s key to note that some bruising and possible swelling may occur. It is important that you do not push or press on the treated areas. It is important that you do not disturb the areas where the product has been placed.
