The skin uses the light as a source of energy to fuel the repair and rejuvenation of damaged cells, or, in the case of treating acne, kill bacteria. The energy stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, boosts circulation and accelerates tissue repair.
We use LED Light Therapy in almost all of our signature facials. If someone is coming only for LED we clean the skin, then apply LED and SPF to finish.
LED Light Therapy is completely non-invasive and does not hurt. All you’ll feel is a tiny bit of warmth.
Blue LED light has been proven to have powerful anti-bacterial properties that have the ability to kill the acne causing bacteria, P. acnes. It prevents and treats acne. Blue light also helps to purify the skin, stabilize oil glands, and sooth inflammation.
Red Light has the ability to reach down into all the layers of the skin where it rejuvenates, stimulates collagen production, prompts cellular repair, increases natural hydration levels, reduced redness and inflammation, shrinks the appearance of pores, regulates oil production and improves circulation promoting a more vibrant and youthful complexion. Red light therapy is a medically-approved treatment for rosacea.
Green light is absorbed into the skin where it has a calming effect. It helps to lighten hyper-pigmentation spots revealing a brighter complexion. The calming effect also has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe the surface of the skin. Green LED Therapy is used to treat dilated capillaries, sagging skin around the eyes, under eye circles, hyperpigmentation and sun spots.
